Our Diagnostic Philosophy:
Our pathologists take a collaborative and integrative approach to arriving at the correct diagnosis. Challenging cases are shared among experienced colleagues for additional opinions, discussed at multidisciplinary conferences that integrate clinical, radiologic and pathologic findings, and sent out for consultative opinions to carefully selected expert key opinion leaders around the country, as necessary. Broad and easy access to a wide array of ancillary testing including cutting edge molecular diagnostics, allows our pathology team to provide patients and clinical colleagues with the latest prognostic information in addition to an accurate and reliable diagnosis. In cases of malignancy, concurrent agreeing diagnosis by two experienced pathologists is required, ensuring a routine second opinion and increasing diagnostic accuracy and precision.
